What may be true is that the excess oils used in junk foods may not properly be excreted from the system and may heighten sensitivity at the glandular level to lead to acne infection. Reducing the amount of sugars you eat can help in your overall goal of clearing your skin. Sunburn, pollutants, or damp air can also aggravate acne. Sun can accelerate oil production and scarring, and skin structure at the cellular level is affected. So, basically... sun bathing does not help your acne. It can actually make it worse.
